This is a project for a client with a large play and game room in a finished basement. The built-in will be tucked between two existing walls that provide a perfect frame for the storage as well as for a dart board above. One of the most exciting parts of the project will be the wooden backing for the dartboard. The client has some reclaimed wood that we’ll use to create a unique, one-of-a-kind surround for the dartboard. The rendering shows the overall design for the area. The toy box unit is on the left with a lid that will lift up for access. The shelf is on the right and has two doors that will be a continuation of the face frame and will have no visible hinges or pulls. The space is about 7′ wide and 18″ deep.
