The toy box/cabinet is installed. The wall piece is up. The project is done. This was a great project that makes use of an odd space in the recreation room of the home.
The toy box has a lid that will stay in place when open. There is plenty of room inside to store toys or any other household item.
The cabinet has push-to-open doors so that no hardware is seen. This allows the 7 ft. long face to appear as a continuous series of frame and panels.
The highlight, however, is the wallpiece. The client had some old wooden pallets that we broke down, shaped, and finished. While this piece is primarily to provide a back-up for the dartboard, the unique look and design could work as a handsome stand-alone piece on any wall.
