With the prep work done, construction begins on the upper section of the first cabinet. First job is to assemble the sides and make sure everything is square.
Next task is to create the face frame and attach it to the upper section.
The glue-up is done in segments in order to keep the assembly true and to allow the room needed to insert the shelves. There are three shelves in the upper case which should provide a significant amount of storage. The shelf spacing appears out of proportion at this stage. But once the glass doors are added, everything will line up properly. This is now the first look at a nearly complete cabinet.
